The Teva Mountain Games are the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, art and music and they return to Vail, June 3-6, 2010. Adventure Online TV will be in Vail and filming the Games in 3D. Watch this site for 3D action sports videos!

We are accepting adventure sport film such as, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skateboarding, downhill mountain biking, kayaking, kite surfing. All entree's must include a 5 minute highlight clip and a 30-40 minute full feature film. All entrees must include title, credits and be PG rated. Feel free to include commentary, bloopers, crashes. We want you to be creative and entertaining.

Hip-Notics Cable Wake Park in Antalya, Turkey named host for 2010!
The World Wakeboard Association (WWA) is proud to announce the location and date for the 2010 WWA Wake Park World Championships. Hip-Notics Cable Wake Park, one of the largest and most progressive parks in the world will be hosting the event in Antalya, Turkey from Monday September 27th – Saturday October 2nd, 2010.

Three well established events set the stage and brought the wake world together this season for some action packed wakeboarding and wakeskating. Large cash prizes, overall bonuses and the chance to earn prestigious titles enticed riders from all over the region to participate in the 2009 WWA Europe Wake Park Series (EWPS). With over $70,000 in total cash prizes on the line, a progressive one lap format and widespread support from the wake community, the 2009 EWPS proved a huge success in setting higher standards for competitive wake sports in the region!
The Ukrainian Wake Park Open at X-Traction Park in Kiev kicked off the series on August 21st, followed by the Foster’s Cup at Cable-Island in Magdeburg, Germany and concluding at Princes Club near London at the King of Cable. WWA Europe is proud to have partnered with the some of the finest Wake Parks for this series, creating ideal competition venues for riders, fans, media and for sponsors to showcase their products and also scout out “the next best thing” in riding and overall trends in the sport.
This is some wildlife footage shot at the Viera Wetlands near Viera Florida. While we were walking around we noticed this duck swimming in a strange fashion, only to realize that a gator was attached to the back of it! Its really interesting as the gator swims towards an island, other ducks begin to follow along.

Its Adventure Online TVs 100th Video! For our 100th Video, Adventure Online TV teamed with Full Sail Film College in Orlando, Florida to create a half hour TV Show Pilot. Part of the challenge for the Pilot was that it had to be live cut, meaning that once the show started, it was recorded live with no cuts from start to finish except commercial breaks.
The show consists of three segments, and includes our house band, The Nouveaux Honkies! Guests include Canadian National Rock Climbing Team Member Andrew Calder, Flight1 Skydiving Team Members Jay Moledzki and Jessica Edgeington, and Velocity Sailing Team Members Trey Brown and John Casey. Hosted by Adventure Online TV creator Brian Karr, and Produced by Full Sail Student and Adventure Online TV Producer Nick Stephan.

The World Wakeboard Association (WWA) along with Governor LRay Villafuerte Jr. and the CamSur Watersports Complex (CWC) have again partnered to bring you the 2009 WWA Wake Park Worlds with $80,000 in total prize money to be held on March 25th – 29th, 2009 in the beautiful province of Camarines Sur, Philippines.
Alongside the 2009 WWA Wake Park World Championships pulled behind the cable, CWC will again host the first stop of the WWA Wakeboard World Series during the same week. The CamSur Rider’s Cup will kick off the World Series behind the boat, with all of the world’s top riders competing for a chance to become the WWA Wakeboard World Series champion at the end of the season.

FISE, the International Extreme Sport Festival is pleased to announce its 13th edition in 2009, giving you rendez-vous from May 20-24 in downtown Montpellier on “Les Rives du Lez,” in the South of France.
FISE is the biggest European Pro Freestyle Contest and will once again be host to more than 1,500 professional and amateur athletes from all over the world in Skateboard, Wakeboard, BMX, Slopestyle MTB and Inline Skating.
It is home to the largest European BMX and roller street course and with more than 200 hours of TV broadcasting, hundreds of pages in the press and 300,000 visitors expected over the 5 day event, this is sure to be one of the highlights of the action sport season.
As the Space Shuttle nears its retirement in 2010, the last planned night launch took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Veteran space flier Navy Capt. Christopher J. Ferguson will command the STS-126 mission aboard Endeavour to deliver equipment to the International Space Station that will enable larger crews to reside aboard the complex. Air Force Lt. Col. Eric A. Boe will serve as the pilot. The mission specialists are Navy Capt. Stephen G. Bowen, Army Lt. Col. Robert S. Kimbrough, Navy Capt. Heidemarie M. Stefanyshyn-Piper and NASA astronauts Donald R. Pettit and Sandra H. Magnus.

The countrys largest celebration of mountain sport, soul and culture returns to Vail once again with The Teva Mountain Games in June 2008. Professional and amateur outdoor adventure athletes from the Vail Valley and around the world converge upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in seven sports and ten disciplines including: freestyle and extreme kayaking, kayak and raft paddlecross, bouldering, speed and dyno climbing, mountain bike freeride, big air, cross country, and road racing, as well as trail running, and the GNC Ultimate Mountain Challenge.

In its long history, the MCM has not only made a name for itself in sheer size as the 4th largest US Marathon and 8th in the world, but stands as the largest marathon in the world that doesnt offer prize money, earning its nickname, The Peoples Marathon. Thirty-three years of MCM history can all be traced back to one man Colonel Jim Fowler, and big idea. According to Fowler, After the Vietnam War, popularity of the military services declined in the eyes of many. At the same time, distance running was gaining considerable positive attention. This thought process lead Fowler to write a memo to his superior, General Michael Ryan, dated 17 October 1975, outlining his idea for a Marine Corps Reserve Marathon, to promote community goodwill, showcase the Marine Corps, serve as a recruiting tool and finally, to give local Marines an opportunity to qualify for the legendary Boston Marathon.
